Experience this 10.5-km point-to-point trail near Sydney, New South Wales. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 2 h 42 min to complete. This is a very popular area for hiking, running, and walking, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime. This famous coastal walk can be done in either direction, but most people go from Spit to Manly. Following the Manly Scenic Walkway, the trail starts at the Spit Bridge. The track passes by sandy beaches, ancient Aboriginal sites, and stunning viewpoints and finally leads to the lively Manly area with various restaurants, cafes, and bars. Connecting pedestrian paths and walking tracks, the route highlights some of Sydney Harbour’s best bits: Clontarf Reserve, Castle Rock Beach, Grotto Point Lighthouse, Dobroyd Head, Reef Beach, Forty Baskets Beach, and Postcard Harbour views to Manly Wharf.
